Welcome to SANFED - the South African Naturist Federation, a voluntary, non profit association whose aims are as follows :

* Promote Naturism as far as possible
* Educate the General Public about Naturism
* Uphold the Values and Standards expected of true Naturists
* SANFED has a strict non discrimination policy

The worldwide body that oversees Naturist activities, the
International Naturist Federation (INF) defines Naturism as :

“a way of life in harmony characterized by the practice of communal nudity, with the intention of encouraging self-respect for others and for the environment”


		Today the South African Naturist Federation (SANFED) is well established and has various affiliated Business Member Resorts and Bed & Breakfast facilities that cater for the discerning Naturist.

			There are also some Nudist beaches that are freely enjoyed by all, and one of SANFED’s key objectives is to have these beaches officially recognized as Naturist areas. For more info go to Resorts.


	South Africa is becoming a popular destination for international tourists looking for naturist destinations. The beautiful scenery, sunny weather and friendly naturists are the main features that tourists find attractive.
